Reversi

The classic disc-flipping strategy game on an 8×8 board. Trap a line of your opponent's discs between two of yours and they all flip to your colour. Whoever has more discs when neither player can move wins.

How to play

  1. Choose Play the computer or Two players, one device.
  2. Against the computer, pick a level (Normal or Hard) and your colour (Black, White or Random),

then press Start.

  1. Tap a highlighted square to place a disc. Every line of opponent discs you trap flips at once.
  2. Black moves first, and the players take turns.

The computer thinks on your own device, in the background, so the board never freezes. It looks a fixed number of moves ahead rather than thinking for a fixed time, so it plays the same way on every device. There is no score, rating or ranking: every game is a friendly match.

The board shows both disc counts, the last move (an amber dot) and every pass. Animations and sound can be switched off at the top of the game; animations start switched off when your device asks for reduced motion. Interface languages: English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese.
