Leap Quest
A side-scrolling platformer against the clock. Run and jump through four hand-made levels to the checkered flag, stomp slimes, dodge spikes and pits, and grab coins along the way — every coin takes half a second off your time.
How to play
- Choose a difficulty and press Start running.
- Run right through each level and touch the checkered flag at the end.
- Grey flags along the way are checkpoints. Touch one and it turns green.
- Clear all four levels to finish the run.
The world
Thing, What it does
Spikes and pits, Send you back to the last checkpoint — the clock keeps running while you respawn
Slimes, Hurt you from the side; jump on them from above to stomp them
Springs, Launch you high into the air
Wooden planks, Jump up through them from below and land on top
Coins, Each one takes 0.5 s off your final time
Hold jump longer to jump higher, and hold it while stomping a slime to bounce higher.
Difficulty
Normal, Hard
Levels, Meadow, Lake, Thorns, Summit, Cliffs, Caverns, Gauntlet, Spire
Gaps and steps, Gentle, Wider gaps and taller steps
Hazards, A few spikes, Spike rows under the platforms
Slimes, Slow, Faster
Both difficulties have 4 levels. Every level is checked by an automatic solver, so all of them can be finished.
Score
- Your score is the total time for all four levels minus 0.5 s for every coin you collected.
- Lower is better. Normal and Hard have separate leaderboards.
- Falls cost no points, but the clock keeps running while you respawn.
- The result shows your time for each level.
