Many kinds of browser games in one place, each with its own leaderboard.
Block Fit
Drag three pieces at a time onto an 8×8 board and clear full rows and columns. Chain clears for combos and keep going until nothing fits.
Block Fit
A calm block-placement puzzle. Three pieces at a time, one 8×8 board: fit them in, fill rows and columns to clear them, and keep the board open for as long as you can.
How to play
- Pick a difficulty and press Start building.
- Drag one of the three pieces from the tray onto the board. The shadow shows where it lands, and
the lines it would clear light up.
- A full row or column clears straight away. Rows and columns that fill at the same time clear
together.
- When all three pieces are placed, three new ones appear. Pieces cannot be turned.
- The run ends when none of the pieces in the tray fits anywhere on the board.
A piece dropped where it does not fit slides back to the tray. There is no undo. Pieces that cannot fit anywhere right now are shown faded in the tray.
The piece set has 18 shapes, from a single block to five-block pieces (bars, corners, squares, crosses and a few odd ones), dealt in 71 fixed orientations. Every run comes from a seed shown on the result screen: the same seed and the same moves always give the same game.
Difficulties
Normal, Hard
Board, 8×8, empty, 8×8 with 5 grey stones
Five-block pieces, about 25% of the deal, about 43% of the deal
A deal where no piece fits, redrawn up to 3 times, never redrawn
Points, ×1, ×1.5
Stones only leave the board when their row or column clears, and each one is worth 20 points. Hard runs end sooner, but every action scores more.
Score
- Each block placed: 1 point.
- Lines cleared with one piece: 10 for one line, 30 for two, 60 for three, 100 for four.
- Combo: clear lines on back-to-back placements and each step adds ×0.5 to the line points, up
to ×4.
- Empty the whole board with a clear: 300 bonus points.
- On Hard every point is multiplied by 1.5.
Runs are not ranked: every run deals different pieces, so luck plays a part. Your score is shown in the game and your best score for each difficulty is kept on this device. The result screen also shows lines, pieces placed, best combo and board clears.
